Infant feeding, Vitamin A Supplementation and Vaccination:
As per the Annual Health Survey (2012-13), in Bihar, the early initiation of breastfeeding was 37%, exclusive breastfeeding for six months was 31%, children (aged 12-23 months) who had received BCG was 94.7%, children (aged 12-23 months) who had received three doses of DPT was 81.6%, children (aged 12-23 months) who had received Measles vaccine was 80.3% and children (aged 6-35 months) who had received at least one dose of Vitamin A in past 6 months was 56.2%. However, there were wide inter-district variations.......
